Thank you for choosing rescue! Most of our pets can be transported to the northeast or Florida for an additional fee. All friends over 6 months have been spayed or neutered and heartworm tested. All of our adoptables have been vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. We accept cash only for adoption fees.  We have adoptables from Fl to NH. If the dog that you are interested in is not in your state, they can be transported to you, providing that you are along route. Adoption applications are available at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under ADOPT. Please be aware that some of our pictures are intake pix, taken on the day that the dog arrived. We update after they are groomed and as time allows. There will be a Fl and a northeast transport within the next two weeks.

Candy was born 4/26/12. She is a beautiful girl. She needs a companion who can love her for who she is. Candy came from a very large commercial breeding facility and she was born with deformed back legs. She does not seem to be in pain and gets around fine.  She has some scabs on her skin. She arrived infested with fleas. She has been treated and is healing. Her condition is not treatable. She will always have bad legs, but needs love like the puppies who do not have health issues. She would have been euthanized if we had not taken her.
