Our Adoption Process: A Step-by-Step Guide

Thank you for considering adopting one of our rescues! We are committed to finding the perfect match for each of our dogs and their potential families. Here’s how our application process works:

Submit Your Application

After you submit your application, our team will review it as promptly as possible. You can expect to hear back from us within 15 business days, though times may vary depending on our current volume of applications.

What Happens Next?

Option 1: Denial If we determine that it’s not the right match, you will receive a denial. While we don’t disclose specific reasons—to maintain the integrity of our selection process—we appreciate your understanding and encourage you to consider other adoption opportunities.

Option 2: Specific Approval Upon approval for the dog you applied for,  you’ll have 24 hours to respond via email or preferred text using the number provided. Due to the high interest in our dogs, we require a non-refundable deposit to hold your chosen dog. This policy ensures fairness to all applicants and our dogs waiting for their forever homes.

Option 3: General Approval If the dog you applied for has already been adopted, you’ll receive general approval. This means you can select another dog within 6 months without submitting a new application or paying another fee. Keep an eye on our website and let us know when another dog captures your heart.

Important Adoption Process Information

Our Commitment to Our Dogs’ Well-Being:

  • All of our rescue dogs are currently fostered in the Southeastern Region of the USA.
  • We are dedicated to ensuring that each of our dogs goes to a loving and committed home. Therefore, we arrange transportation for our dogs only when an adopter has fully committed to the adoption, prior to the dog’s travel.
  • Given their resilience and potential, our puppies are quick to find their forever homes. To avoid unnecessary stress, we do not support transporting them for initial meetings. We believe in minimizing the strain of long-distance travel on these young animals.
  • For those looking to meet one of our dogs in person before making a commitment, we recommend visiting local shelters. Our adult dogs are primarily adopted within their current locale, allowing for direct interactions that address any specific needs or concerns.
  • We apply the same level of care and consideration in placing a dog with your family as we would in choosing a dog for our own homes. Rest assured, should any challenges arise post-adoption, we are here to support and, if necessary, welcome our dog back.

Join Our Community:

  • Over the years, we have been fortunate to build a community of happy adopters, many of whom have returned to adopt more dogs from us. Your stories and experiences fuel our mission.
  • For additional information, updates, and heartwarming success stories, please visit our Facebook page and website. We are excited for you to become part of our extended family of adopters.
