Thank you for choosing rescue! Most of our pets can be transported to the northeast or Florida for an additional fee. All friends over 6 months have been spayed or neutered and heartworm tested. All of our adoptables have been vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. We accept cash only for adoption fees.  We have adoptables from Fl to NH. If the dog that you are interested in is not in your state, they can be transported to you, providing that you are along route. Adoption applications are available at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under ADOPT. Please be aware that some of our pictures are intake pix, taken on the day that the dog arrived. We update after they are groomed and as time allows. There will be a Fl and a northeast transport within the next two weeks.

Leemo is a precious 8 1/2 lb miniature dachshund male.  He was rescued from a breeder who had him living outside during the 114 degree heat in Georgia.  He LOVES the air conditioning now and is the first one back in his foster home's house after pottying!!  He is extremely friendly and loves to be held and cuddled.
