Gretta is approx 8 lb purebred yorkie. She has short legs and looks smaller because she is low to the ground!!  We guess her to be around 6 yrs old. Please keep in mind that yorkies can easily live to 14 yrs so she is still a young dog. She is the BEST dog her foster Mom has ever fostered. She is an absolute angel, love bug, gives kisses. She would be a great therapy dog , she loves everyone!! Gretta is so happy and playful in the mornings, she puts a big smile on your face every morning!! Gretta has a beautiful soft coat and loves to be brushed and petted, loves everyone, great with other dogs, ok w cats. She likes to play catch , tug of war and carry around her toys and everyone elses and put them in a big pile! She will also give you a "high five"!! for a pet on the head.  She has been working on her house training and with a watchful eye, shes doing pretty well, still has some accidents though. You will need to continue with her house training but she is a pleaser and a simple easy quiet no and she listens. No reason to ever raise your voice to her, shes very attentive. She is perfectly crate trained and knows how to use a doggy door. She is a quiet dog and would be best suited for a home without younger children. She likes them a lot and will give kisses but she would be better suited to a quieter household. Gretta has no bad habits, shes great in the house and loves to sleep in the bed with you and is perfect, she will also sleep in her crate, no complaints, shes a pleaser, easy to live with and easy to love. We have fallen in love and are looking for the perfect home for Gretta. Gretta needs a stay at home Mom and another dog to keep her company. She does not like to be left alone. She gets very depressed when left alone as she has always had another doggie companion.  Gretta is not just a dog for someone who just wants a dog. Gretta has been spayed, micro chipped, recent dental, teeth cleaning, heart worm tested negative, current on shots, heart worm preventative, flea/tick control, rabies tag, wormed and groomed. Thank you for choosing rescue! Most of our pets are in Ga, but can be transported to the northeast or Florida for an additional fee. All friends over 6 months have been spayed or neutered and heartworm tested. All of our adoptables have been vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. We accept cash only for adoption fees.  We have adoptables from Fl to NH. If the dog that you are interested in is not in your state, they can be transported to you, providing that you are along route. We update after they are groomed and as time allows. There will be a Fl and a northeast transport within the next two weeks.
