Wags is a JRT mix about 5 months old and 20 lbs. He came from rural Ga where he was sitting on the side of the street next to what we think was his sibling. He was dead. Wags was laying by his side, resting his head on the body. Many cars drove by and never stopped. Finally a kind hearted person stopped and  picked him up and  she called and asked our rescue to help. We could not turn this sweet boy away! He was infested with fleas and filthy. He has been completely vetted and is ready for a new home. Wags is adjusting well. He is now a happy boy and wags his entire body when he meets you. Wags is located in Venice, Fl. He will need a home with children who have a lot of energy or an energetic adult.

All friends over 6 months have been spayed or neutered and heartworm tested. All of our adoptable friends have been vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. We accept cash only for adoption fees unless other arrangements are made.  We have adoptables from Fl to NH. If the dog that you are interested in is not in your state, they can be transported to you for an additional fee. Adoption applications are available at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under ADOPT. Please be aware that some of our pictures are intake pix, taken on the day that the dog arrived. We update after they are groomed and as time allows.
